The Employment Development Department (EDD) has appealed the Administrative Law Judge's decision that you are eligible for Disability Insurance benefits. If you are otherwise eligible and you complete and send in continued claim forms covering each week that you continue to be disabled, EDD may pay you benefits until the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board (CUIAB) reaches a decision. If the CUIAB decides that you are not eligible for benefits, you may have to repay EDD.
