The Unemployment Insurance (UI) office has notified us that you were paid UI benefits for a period for which you are claiming Paid Family Leave (PFL). You cannot be eligible for both programs for the same days.
Basis: California Unemployment Insurance Code (CUIC), Section 3303.1. (a) (1).
To avoid a delay in issuing benefit payment(s) to you, your first Paid Family Leave (PFL) payment covers only the period following your UI payments. Please contact the UI office (1-800-300-5616) as soon as possible so that this matter may be resolved quickly.
